Savannah Bay, Virgin Gorda
(4.7/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
With a curving, white stretch of soft sand, and a nearby reef to explore, you’ll wonder why Savannah Bay remains so quiet and secluded. One of the island’s largest yet most undeveloped beaches offers excellent snorkeling, thanks to the reef’s close proximity to the shoreline. The beach doesn't have any facilities, so be sure to bring water, sunscreen, umbrellas, and your own snorkeling equipment if you plan to investigate the coral. Currents can be strong, so ensure you choose a calm day to visit. Put Savannah Bay on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our British Virgin Islands trip generator.

  • This is the perfect place to go if you just want to get away from everything for awhile. Its not usually crowded (except for holidays). Great for a picnic (pack your own). Snorkeling is a must.
  • Lovely beach and not as crowded as others it's great for snorkelling, or just floating in the water like a bath and the views from the beach are just heavenly. I highly recommend this bay.
