3.4/5 based on 55+ reviews on the web
Stop at Copper Mine Point while touring Virgin Gorda island to immerse yourself in a fascinating historical site. Abandoned and left to ruin in the 1800s, the mine was used by British miners, and the fruits of their labour would be transported by boat all the way to Wales. Be sure to bring your camera, as the site affords beautiful views of the ocean. There is little information available onsite, so it’s worth researching the mine's interesting history before you go.
