Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 95+ reviews on the web
Regarded as one of the world's romantic beaches, Deadman's Bay invites you to a tropical oasis of soft golden sand and crystal clear waters. Hammocks, beach chairs, palm trees, and beach umbrellas line the sand and a restaurant can be found quietly tucked away under the shade of tropical trees. The crescent shaped mile-long beach is the biggest on the island. It is said that the bay got its name from pirates that were marooned on the neighboring Dead Chest Island and drowned while trying to swim to Peter Island. Their bodies washed up ashore on this bay. For travelers who use our world travel planner, British Virgin Islands holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Deadman's Bay and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.
