  • Solar Monjardim, in Jucutuquara, is the seat of the Museum of the same name, the most important of the State in the Federal University of Espírito Santo. Is probably the oldest private rural construction of the colonial period. It was built as the seat of the Jucutuquara farm and was the property of the priests of the society of Jesus. With the expulsion of these, was acquired by Gonçalo Pereira Pinto merchant. The farm was going to the Hill of Espírito Santo to the tip, to produce cassava flour and, later, coffee.

  • While visiting this museum you will make a brief visit to the past, straight to a House of the last century, with rooms, furniture, cooking utensils well preserved. Important to the culture and history.

  • This is a well-preserved old house once home to the influential Montjardim family. It has a fascinating history and contains many artefacts which give an insight into what it must have been like to live there in the days when there were no other buildings in the vicinity.
  • Representa a cultura capixaba!
  • Pequeno, mas fundamental. Vale a visita.
