  • This Christ statue left me with a distinct image... Christ is emaciated, has long arms and legs, and looks to be suffering. Mario Carvo, the sculptor, is an important icon in the culture of the sertão...  more »
  • Site with fame, State of the world's biggest Christ crucified, but abandoned, without security, without any structure for a tourist visit douradora and secure.

  • Access is easy and has a panoramic view of the city of Vitória da Conquista but is missing information about the statue and the site although some constructs that would serve to support are not being used and insecurity or vulnerability prevails. The sculpture is impressive and the story is not displayed. Lack a ramp or a ledge to facilitate tourist photos without the interference of the local vegetation.
