  • Busy riverside on summer, as many families visit the place, 'cause it's near Porto Alegre area. The place has lots of woods, have a large protected area. Lots of path to walk.  more »
  • Itapuã Park, now being more careful and observed. Is a location near to Porto Alegre which provides a resting place, trails, recreation and BBQ in the midst of nature, in what's left of the original ecosystem of Porto Alegre. In addition to the presence of friendly monkeys. The infrastructure of the Park has barbecues, toilets, changing rooms: with shower and parking. But the visitor should take everything you want to eat and drink at the Park, there is no point of sale. A good call. Take hat, insect repellent, sunscreen, food, water, beach chairs and camera. Note: you must purchase tickets in advance at the tourist Centre of Porto Alegre.

  • I met the Itapuã Park when nor was Park. It was an open area, we were in groups of teenagers who liked to walk in the Woods, taking pictures of landscapes and animals. I met the lighthouse of itapuã beach place, Quarry Beach, praia das pombas, Tiger Beach, praia de fora, pontal of desertas, Black Lagoon, morro da grota. When it was possible to camp. Of course, had a lot of mess people who was going to leave trash. We've gathered our garbage, sometimes tiravamos 1 hour to get the junk that came with the tide and the trash that was left. Pity that in Brazil is all 8 or 80. Today one can only go to one of the beaches, which not even the prettiest. Could do trails, leading to the lighthouse, climb the morro da grota, could define areas where you could camp. Made a park that has nothing to offer except a beach for bathing. The coolest thing you can take from there is the knowledge of the area, vegetation, animals, and that makes walking, making trails. Unfortunately the Park today is neither shadow of what it was, considering that one could do. If you had intelligent people could make a park that would please anyone just wet the belly in the summer and who want to meet beautiful locations and learn something from nature.

  • A beautiful place, away, but upon reaching the time is rewarded. It is worth visiting the Museum in the Centre of information and then walk to the Beach Park p das Pombas, simple structure but the necessary p seize the day!

  • The place is great, quiet and safe for children. The only problem is that we have been promised other beaches about 10 years and nothing, this reduces the number of visitors and the risk fe be barred at the gate. Anyway worth the visit.

  • The Park is still adapting, newly reopened, but it's very nice. You can do some short, easy trails and visit the beach.

  • On the beach of the Pigeons in the Park, simply awesome-5 stars. The problem is access until then, absurd the amount and size of the holes. It seems that the road was bombed-a shame.

  • Don't bother going there. Saturday stretched a bike for the village of Itapuã, Lami which is a shame for the dirt, and even the order of the Park was closed. The guard told me he's been like this since May and has no open forecast, there is a lack of staff to meet, etc, etc. ...
