nice place, but as I don't like to stay indoors, only went into a cave and come out already! But the place where they are the view is very beautiful! Worth knowing if you are passing the road that gives access to it! But access is paid!

Access to the Cave of the River 4 X 4 is a side of SC-370 Highway, which connects the municipalities of Urubici and Grão Pará. The road is completely compacted and takes too long to arrive at the scene about 30 minutes to walk 6 km through fully rural properties. Despite this, the road is in good condition. The landscape of fields and the river that follows the road is beautiful. The location where the caves are located is private property, as well as many attractions in Urubici. Will I have to pay $5 per person at the Pousada Rio dos Bugres Cave, which is literally next to the access gate. The pousada staff reports on what it's about and how it works-are very receptive. After passing the gate, the road is bad and with many stones. There is a steep rise in our car suffered a lot to get the car skated and we had to turn back all to climb with boost. The caves themselves give a little scared at first sight, especially for those who never visited something like my case. Are caves with a considerable altitude, and at various points it is possible to remain fully standing, being careful not to bang your head on the low places. Is a short experience because the caves are small, only a few dozen steps to walk through it. Despite this, take some source of light for the cave as it is pretty dark. The story about the emergence of the caves is interesting and the tale is recorded on a plaque in front of the attraction. On the left are the caves that you can leave for another place, and the right side are the caves which have no way out. The visitation is fast. I believe that the lack of a local guide is part of the visitor's own discovery experience. In this way, it is possible to feel some sensations that would be inhibited in the presence of a guide. Could only be greater local signage. I would say that this is one of those attractions that visit is recommended only if you have already seen everything that the region offers. The route is removed and time-consuming, and there really isn't much to be explored or contemplated. Despite this, is something interesting and curious; the landscape around the caves is beautiful and ensures good pictures.

A tourist spot that can be interesting depending on your creativity to visit it, especially if you go with children. As it is not necessary to use helmets, careful when walking.

For those who like adventure and historical curiosity, is worth a lot! You can enter in the caves of the Damned, just pay a fee in place of $5, because the caves are on private property. Just go up to the location of the caves with a penlight (can be the same phone). There is also a stream descending on a trail beside the caves.

The caves are simple, but yield a great ride. Are basically two cave systems in place. The first has two caves, as if they were "houses". The second are runners who meet and create a branch with several entrances/exits. The place is dirty, so it is possible to go with clothes. Preferably bring a flashlight for the walk around the caves. If not, they provide on site. The place still has a trail that leads to the Rio dos Bugres, which passes below and beside the caves.

The cave is quite small but the landscape pays off! Beautiful countryside with pines.
