(4.4/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web)
If you stand on the rocks at the bottom of Avencal Falls, not only can you appreciate its spectacular beauty from close up, but you will also feel the force of the powerful 100 m (328 ft) drop of water. Eco-guides are available to lead you along the stony path, which in places can be slippery so make sure you wear suitable footwear. They are also experts in the native foliage and will point out to you the ferns that give this waterfall its name. • Waterfall with a fall of 100 metres approximately, is ideal for the practice of extreme sport. Is near the arrival the Urubici for those coming from São Joaquim. Access is easy, can be drive on top and the man at the bottom. It is recommended to use comfortable shoes and anti slippery.

  • Amazing place, is on the way to the Serra do Rio do Rastro, has an unpaved road that leads to the place, bad road, with many stones, difficulty to come back with small car because it is a climb. But upon arriving at the scene is wonderful, it has several trails, had to pay a risória fee to gain access to the site. It also has other ecotourism activities, all paid. The view is incredible, the waterfall is a raving beauty.
