  • a small village of fishermen, with listed hotel, several summer houses, crafts and quisques. It is very interesting because then come out flying boats for ilha das Couves. Recommend!

  • Very quiet beach with calm waters. There's a village of fishermen, who have created an Association of boat trips to some points of Ubatuba (as Ilha das Couves and Anchieta Island). Has a restaurant overlooking the sea.

Where to stay in Ubatuba

Ubatuba's accommodations mainly stick close to the water, where major hotels along coastal roads offer both simple and luxurious rooms, with or without a view. Budget-conscious travelers may wish to explore the more humble pousadas (guesthouses) of the town, with a good choice throughout, coming down in price as you move away from the water. Consider an apartment rental for longer stays; or, if you're anxious to get out into the national park and mountainous areas of the municipality, try the campsites on the outskirts of town.
