  • Access isn't great and the reception of the tourist infrastructure can improve. However, the place is worth the visit for the beautiful view of the region and also for the kindness of the sellers of local shops.

  • Best option is to rent a car that makes the ride to Pico do Papagaio and the tour in the afternoon to the end have a beautiful sunset I asked the car at the front desk, and the driver was promptly at the appointed time. We started the walk in the Damn John, impressive. Neco Then we went to Furnas of Dutch, cave where the Dutch went into hiding during the war at the time of colonization and we finish at the peak of the 1260m Parrot, highest point in the State of Pernambuco with an amazing sunset!

  • Worth knowing. The location is a little distant because the rise has to be slow given the path be all stones. The view from up there is perfect. The highest location of Pernambuco. The hotels offer a visit to this site for 150 reais but with a newly placed asphalt on the climb I was able to visit the place with my own car and I didn't spend anything. And with these two lines of asphalt you doesn't miss the way but it's good to go with the GPS connected to do not risk getting lost. You have to go slowly because many curves and in some places only 1 car at a time.
