Nativos Beach, Trancoso

4.2
#9 of 33 in Beaches in Porto Seguro
Beach Nature / Park
Sandwiched between tall palm trees and calm, crystal blue water, this beach provides the perfect setting for a stroll, or if you’d rather, a horseback ride, after which you can dine at one of the restaurants serving local cuisine. Try the shrimp stew, a favorite of the locals. Rio Trancoso carves its path through the soft sand to meet the ocean, and the warm pools it forms along its way are ideal for bathing in. While busy, Nativos Beach isn’t crowded, so you are able to find your own tranquil corner to enjoy this paradise. Put Nativos Beach into our Porto Seguro trip itinerary builder and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

Where to stay in Porto Seguro

Luxury hotels and beach resorts are the name of the game when it comes to accommodations in Porto Seguro, with many tourists looking to relax and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. Most of these lie a couple of miles north of the city center, pressed up against long stretches of beach. To enjoy the party scene and get close to the best things to see in Porto Seguro, stay in the narrow streets of the old town. However, if the nightlife seems a bit too intense for your taste, consider the plentiful options in Arraial d'Ajuda--a smaller, quieter town just a couple of miles to the south.
