  • I made a walk of Tiradentes until the Automobile Museum. Fantastic place, several old cars well preserved.

  • A very extensive collection of cars and a few items. The cars are signs indicating model, year and engine specifics. I think it would be more interesting to build a timeline to explain the evolution of manufacturing and trade marks.

  • The Museum is not actually in Tiradentes, but in a small municipality neighbor called bug. It was my second visit to the Museum is still tiny, but improved their facilities. Everything well organized, although tiny, only 60 copies, but all very well preserved, as is custom among the antigomobilistas miners. In fact, the overwhelming majority of cars have plates of Minas Gerais. Worth a stop for those who enjoy and know old autos.

  • Great place to check out some antique cars most which were built specifically for Brazil.
  • Many old cars. The coolest thing is that many of them have only seen in American movies and old time. Worth the ride. Take camera, just ask not to get in the cars.

  • Very cool Museum. Very large collection with many cars. Admission is 15 reais and children up to 05 years do not pay.

Where to stay in Tiradentes

For an atmospheric stay among the Baroque architecture, consider staying in the center of Tiradentes. Prices inflate greatly on weekends, and in the accommodations directly next to the historical area. Charming pousadas (guesthouses) and small hotels make up most of the selection in town, though budget rooms in hostels can also be found if you don't mind staying a few streets from the major attractions. Out of town, you'll find a few more pousadas along the main roads leading out to the south, east, and west, as well as rental apartments and campsites.
