  • Talking about the place is talking about my childhood. I grew up in this town whose story of Monteiro Lobato with the local culture. Every weekend has theatre with the characters, and for free! My 4-year-old daughter, loves and if I could I would every find. The statues are being restored little by little, and the space is conducive to picnics.

  • Here is the true site of the Pica Pau Amarelo, a historic place that should receive more attention from the competent authorities. Unfortunately this does not occur and the garden is with precarious conservation. Record the commitment of characters who try to pass some of the work of the famous writer.

  • It's a place; very good to go with children's programming, including Theater for small. There is a permanent exhibition and some temporary; I didn't pay to get in.

  • Nice place, very green and a beautiful home. Talented artists that make the play. Clearly the place needs more care and maintenance. Statues worn out and abandoned. Very stuffy Theatre, no air conditioning, let alone fan. Miss a cafeteria so we can spend an entire afternoon at the scene. Has free entry and the theatre also is Free. Left Guarulhos-SP, and would rather pay to enter, pay to watch the theater and have a more well taken care of.

  • We travel more than 1,000 kilometers to meet the Museum, I knew it was a little precarious, so without many expectations. But it was much worse than we could imagine, we left to go in the afternoon for children to interact with the characters, but once we set foot in many sleeves on the floor at the entrance, showing the abandonment. As we approach the House saw the characters sitting in the window on the outside, and no time raised to receive children, not even greeted, to me, an adult was disappointing, imagine for children and too unprepared, without initiative, lazy, no notion of how take the charm of children. It's an offense to Monteiro Lobato, not only those unprepared characters, but the carelessness with the Museum in General, that poverty, 20% were works of Monteiro Lobato, not to mention that no books to sell had, and the few souvenirs, bought the tent on the street. Really regret having gone, did not classify as a Museum, but a place to pass the time, but at most 30 minutes because I didn't see the culture be valued in this place, unfortunately.

  • The Park has a precarious situation, with a little attractive exhibition on the history of Monteiro Lobato or your work (boil down the panels in few rooms). The external space is nice, but lacks attractions for the general public.

  • Very nice place, especially for children but leaves a little to be desired, especially for us fans of Monteiro Lobato, could be better care. I know it's not for lack of staff and collaborators, but could be a little better, seen by the Government.
