Barra Velha Beach, Soure
(4.3/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web)
Squeezed between mangrove forests and the ocean, Barra Velha Beach has a wild, almost savage beauty to it. Local folklore says that the native who discovered the beach was Master Tomás, a master builder and poet known in the region who wrote legends and poems about the location. Grab a cold beer and a bite to eat at one of the kiosks serving fresh fish and crab, then head off down the increasingly deserted beach to enjoy the company of nature. • Beach frequented by locals. To reach it you need to leave your car in the parking lot managed by and following by a ICMBIO wooden bridge that stands over the mangroves. Only by this way the tour already thanks, it is very beautiful to observe the mague while walking. When you get to the Beach the show continues, there are trees of mague, there are white sand and warm waters, a gorgeous only. But, be careful with the water, there are holes, sand banks and a lot of current when the tide changes and may have occurrence of stingrays. Inform yourself with the places where and when entering the water. There are kiosks selling snacks, fish, crabs and drinks at low prices.
