Like all malls in Brazil, also suffered from the crisis and had some closed stores. But it's pretty nice, with ample parking and close to bus lines, for those who do not have own transport. Shopping lot frequented by teenagers

The Ciane Courtyard Mall Sorocaba is a new space, well spent, about a former textile factory. It is well located, large, diversified and the environment is very pleasant. Worth knowing.

Shopping easily accessible, very well located, next to the bus terminal with access lines to various parts of the city, good shopping options, ample parking and a nice food court. Every time I go to the Center is almost a must. Off site architecture, that makes you beautiful, especially at night, because it is a historical heritage building. Recommend.

Not bad, too little stores and price competition due to size and location but right in front of the bus station and with a big and clean eating plaza.

Popular space, not as much options as the other ones

Where to stay in Sorocaba

As you might expect from a city not frequented by tourists, Sorocaba's accommodations do not feature an overwhelming concentration of options in a single area. Hotels and guesthouses spread across much of the city, though you'll find a good number in the city center, roughly within the triangle formed by the Rua Sete de Setembro, Avenida Moreira Cesar, and Sorocaba River. Stay within this district for easy access to the city's attractions, including churches, colonial-era administrative buildings, and museums. For more budget-friendly prices, opt for smaller-scale hotels rather than international chains and towering skyscrapers.
