  • One of the most beautiful places of Minas Gerais. The cacheira is the Capivari district, which has 600 inhabitants. It stayed in a guesthouse, very cool to see how the locals live. Capivari are about 10 minutes drive to the start of the trail and 30 more peaceful hiking. The waterfall has the same white sand beach and a well not too deep, but you can swim. Program not to be missed for those who love nature!

  • Coming to the track to go down to the waterfall, has the early a huge tour of the NATURE a real garden. We're greeted by countless genre of flowers (sawn montanes) and some water and crystal clear springs. On the right we see the complex of striking and Beautiful "Pico do Itambé". Already 1/3 of the way we went down by a green (the first trial) and from one moment to another stunning waterfall appears with its crystal clear waters and a beautiful well to swim and his extremely white sand invite us to meditate on creation. -Cons singled out by other (collection, lack of infrastructure, etc ...) does not discredit the contrary and give more value. -Advise in Capivari, before going to the waterfall, order the preparation of lunch to the back with the helpful and friendly Owner Naif (Redneck Chicken good for Mining). I will return with great pleasure > > > >

  • I have visited the falls often. However, on last visit, with a group of friends, I had the unfortunate surprise by the aggressiveness of the owner of the place is the waterfall, which requires the collection of $ 10.00 per person, without decent infrastructure to justify, in addition to being forced to read license plates in a "Portuguese" that no one understands. But the place is wonderful, by the natural beauty. But I think I'm never going back, because there are so many waterfalls in the region. Are 40-50 min by walk, with descent and ascent in the back ... On the way you pass through a field of evergreens and, if you watch, you'll see plants growing close to insectivorous dáqua courses that traverse the trail.
