A park with several options: to walk or bike to the waterfalls or the Canyon Banderinhas a ride of a lifetime. An untouched nature and very rich. Walk in Park not need guide very well signposted. For those who love nature and hiking, I recommend.

Extensive care and Park with various attractions. Is divided into two valleys: mascate (Ordinance-Sands) and the Bocaina (Ordinance of the retreat). The Gatehouse is more structured and Sands are companies that rent bikes or horses. The trails are wide, flagged, with some banks of sand and corregozinhos to cross. Has various attractions (Lakes, lookouts, streams, waterfalls and Canyon). I rented a bike to go to the Canyon, more distant attraction (12 km), and her face broke on the way, a few minutes after exiting the waterfall of Farofa. I returned on foot. The 8 km of Farofa is possible to walk. What I didn't like a lot of this Ordinance it is the scenery which is much changed. In the lobby of the reception is a Retreat House on the side of the road. The tracks are narrow (the farm) and more rugged. The scenery, although some House and mango feet at first, is more natural and beautiful, well, sometimes shrubby tree/rock. For the passarinhólogos you can see many birds. The track is one, which flagged forks to the waterfalls. Also features viewpoints with a beautiful view of the Valley. The Went on Hawk falls and Swallow (7 km) walk. Is the end of your last one has a trail up the riverbed for the stones. The two Ordinances has a trail that the link, but it's worth going on a per day, as the main attractions are pretty far apart and demand time to go back and forth. Not to mention the ease that gives of being "just a little bit longer". Stop by the front desk to chat, sign the guestbook, view maps and choose the attractions. Information about the Park and attractions can also be found on the site of the Park, within the ICMBio. Free entry

Where to stay in Serra do Cipo

In keeping with the wild character of the landscape, Serra do Cipo National Park's accommodations are mainly campsites and simple lodgings. All are affordable and basic, but well maintained, and many offer equipment rental services. Look just west of the park (in the town of the same name), for simple, comfortable hotels in the center; on the outskirts you'll see government-owned pousadas, small and rustic chalets designed for park adventurers.
