A beautiful place. Access is a little difficult. Leaving the Ordinance 1, are five miles of trails to be made on foot or by bike. There are some points where it is necessary to go through a few small streams, bridges, narrow stretches of road with sand and a few steep hills. Upon arriving at the waterfall, there is a descent into a makeshift ladder between the stones and a stone access to the waterfall itself. She is very good and the water is cold! It's nice to go quite protective and use appropriate clothing.

Beautiful waterfall and very well preserved. My husband and I were riding in the last week of July 2017 and hired a local company (Beautiful Generations) that offers this and other types of tours.

Did the bike trail. Exhausting, but very nice. The place was too crowded. Had a snake on the rocks, it pays to be careful. Are five miles to go and 8 to go back. The Park has no structure of anything, it is necessary to bring water and snacks. In the back a huge bee or something similar attacked us, it was kind of nerve-racking but it's all good, no one was hurt.

A long trail but very easy. When the waterfall if dazzled with the unmatched beauty! She is really beautiful! Well worth a visit. You can rent bikes and go faster. I recommend you go early to enjoy the waterfall all day.

Very beautiful waterfall! The trail to it is very quiet. Follow for about a mile on a dirt road. Near the Waterfall we have some pieces of stone paths and climbs and descents, but nothing too challenging. Worth the ride.

Worth the walk. Great ride for those who love nature. On holidays, I recommend arriving early, as the trails are well occupied.

Where to stay in Serra do Cipo

In keeping with the wild character of the landscape, Serra do Cipo National Park's accommodations are mainly campsites and simple lodgings. All are affordable and basic, but well maintained, and many offer equipment rental services. Look just west of the park (in the town of the same name), for simple, comfortable hotels in the center; on the outskirts you'll see government-owned pousadas, small and rustic chalets designed for park adventurers.
