2.2/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web
Biquinha de Anchieta is a small square characteristic for its tiled fountain depicting padre Anchieta, the Jesuit priest who tried to convert the native Indians to Catholicism. Surrounded by souvenir shops, and shops selling Brazilian homemade sweets such as passion-fruit pudding and beijinhos de coco (coconut kisses, similar to macaroons), the site is pleasant for a brief stroll and souvenir shopping. There is also a playground for kids. Plan to see Biquinha de Anchieta and other attractions that appeal to you using our Sao Vicente trip builder.
