  • A good attraction, beautiful site, with options of trails, wild animals and birds to be seen, falls d ´ water; Beautiful and interesting site, but has the potential to improve enough, with more signage and information Office.

  • Nice place to meet. The day I was there I didn't see any extra activity, on site there was no event and I found it kind of stopped and no interesting things. But I think it's worth to meet rs.

  • Location without signaling or information, apparently in reform, but we can't be sure of that. We don't feel safe entering, because really doesn't inspire a lot of security.

  • Nice atmosphere and great for those who love nature and haunted buildings. Try going to the bathroom near the gatehouse. Singular sensation to pee with a ghost blowing in your ear. The forest trails are great. Miss a snack bar on site. There are many people with munchies without where to eat.

  • This unit has culture and always laser ha Events going on around here and a lot of other unusual thing as rehearsal bands and dance groups that gather at times here. Worth the visit for a hike in the local tracks. Or just sit in the shade and enjoy the day.

  • The place is really cute and even care in urbanized area, but there was nothing running on a Saturday, just movement of workers. On the trails, there's some signs and there is a sense of insecurity. Needs to be better care to attract more visitors and residents.

  • Place was very beautiful and well maintained, with concerts, lectures, etc. The last visit that place was abandoned, with high bushes, trash, walls need painting, needs to improve

Where to stay in Sao Roque

Most accommodations in Sao Roque come in the form of smaller-scale hotels and family-run villas rather than upscale chains and all-inclusive resorts. Strung out primarily along the city's main streets of Avenida Antonio Dias Bastos and Avenida Brasil, these hotels offer solid value by combining budget-friendly rates with proximity to the city center. On top of that, you'll find many smaller options housed within beautiful historical homes and restored manors. Outside of the city and into the surrounding countryside lie larger villas and lodges, often with some combination of pools, gardens, and cabins, though you'll need to arrange for adequate transportation.
