  • A shame, because despite having a sign saying that the revitalization began in April 2016, what you see is a total oversight in an area with many possibilities. Striking is that the sign says they were spent approximately $1, 5 mm. A total neglect.

  • The place is very beautiful, the buildings are well-maintained. But it is a park where you don't have much warmth or a lot of work to do. Ends up being more a park with plenty of green.

  • The Cultural Center Brasital, was born on a property whose buildings were one day an important weaving founded in 1890 in the town of San Roque. Rare are the families in which there is someone who has worked there. Unfortunately the site does not count on any cultural programming during our visit, but the tranquillity and the beautiful gardens, associated with the old buildings invite moments of contemplation.

  • A postcard of São Roque, following the same course the Horto Florestal of Mairinque, increasingly abandoned, the trail before it attracted people of all ages, easy and comfortable to be made, now abandoned, with fallen logs along the way, a dirty and smelly water running alongside, fallen bridges, rotten, abandoned, track not recommended at the time, was a great track , now abandoned, the Brasital Centre is still relatively clean and organized, but the grass is high and already demonstrates aspects of place "unkempt", deserves a makeover and a recovery on track, when will that happen? Nobody knows ...

  • Mto good and peaceful place to take the kids, the downside is the place to be a bit abandoned and not offer anything to be consumed there

  • Great place to hang out with friends, family and girlfriend (the)!!! Has book library (open weekdays ...)!!! Close to the bus station and the city centre. Security (location is quiet, but ...) is not very good! Great and Beautiful local structure to understand the history of the city and fans of construction, will like it a lot! Very nice this site!!!

Where to stay in Sao Roque

Most accommodations in Sao Roque come in the form of smaller-scale hotels and family-run villas rather than upscale chains and all-inclusive resorts. Strung out primarily along the city's main streets of Avenida Antonio Dias Bastos and Avenida Brasil, these hotels offer solid value by combining budget-friendly rates with proximity to the city center. On top of that, you'll find many smaller options housed within beautiful historical homes and restored manors. Outside of the city and into the surrounding countryside lie larger villas and lodges, often with some combination of pools, gardens, and cabins, though you'll need to arrange for adequate transportation.
