  • You can see a planting artichokes and, if you're lucky, the beautiful flower of this plant. There is a shop that sells fresh, canned, Pates, lasagnas, pies, all with artichokes. Also has an area of typical products.

  • One of the places that I love more, knowing the maravavilhosa São Roque. Located on a dirt road, on the wine route, which is not noted by the wonderful and faraônicas decorations that there are on the road, is compensated fully and integrally tasting and quality of what they have to offer in the gastronomy of artichoke. A simple Restaurant, large, cozy and quiet, where you can enjoy, like me, a wonderful artichoke to vinaigrette, or a pastel of artichoke, enjoying the silence of nature, and right in front of the plantation, which is spectacular, I say this because I've never known a close one! The prices are super nice, note 10, have a shop we offer everything in terms of artichoke, both preserved as frozen (escondidinho, lasagnas, sfihas, quiches, etc) so sweet in jams with 30% less sugar and wine too! Actually, it's been a long time since I enjoyed not an artichoke so well made! Congratulations to who will and those who do! Don't miss this unique opportunity! #ficaadica

  • The Wine Road in San Roque, is a place worth visiting. Has great restaurants, Vínicolas and Artichokes. In fact this weekend began to harvest Spiced. You can taste various dishes made with artichoke, like Lasagna of Lina's aunt, pastries, Beef Stroganoff, etc. .. almost all restaurants have a recipe. The advantage of buying in those producers, is that you can enjoy everything from stem to the sheet, in the markets we only find the flower, it is very interesting to see a foot of artichoke. In the restaurant Balcony you buy quiejos delicious, if you prefer a bacalhoada can go to restaurants Quinta do Olivardo or Don Village Duck. Do a tasting in the Winery Góes. Anyway is a place for the whole family, including the family dog. Many restaurants allow the animal in external tables.
