For those who like me are fond of these vegetables, the stop at market and restaurant "Bonsucesso Artichokes" is an excellent choice. Her you will find from the vegetables in natura, passing through natural preserves and frozen dishes based on artichokes. There is also a small restaurant on site. On that occasion we taste the delicious pies of artichokes, and we take home a fantastic dip for artichokes. The site is also planting space of the artichokes!!

A small farm with a beautiful planting artichokes, an emporium and a restaurant. All very simple but very well taken care of in the spring, if you're lucky, you can see the beautiful flower of the artichoke (Incidentally, the artichoke is a flower) and even harvest them At Emporium, fresh, frozen artichokes, canned (great), frozen dishes based on artichokes (lasagne, quiche, escondidinho, puff pastry and more), peppers, fruit jellies, cheeses, etc in the restaurant a delicious artichoke pie (crunchy, filling sick) and various preparations of artichoke, we experience the garlic and oil and was divine Walk Sunday's full!

Who is following the script of the wine has to come through here, nice place, excellent service with paintings illustrating the story, I went this weekend and this very beautiful, without the flowers more green, the site offers shopping and has a restaurant with dishes of al cachofras, I didn't eat but I bought some to take, has fresh and frozen, there is also the warehouse several types of peppers made in the region and cheeses. In short it is worth going through there.

Good options all made with artichoke. Too bad the artichoke a few years here has become a luxury item and the price has gone up too much.

Where to stay in Sao Roque

Most accommodations in Sao Roque come in the form of smaller-scale hotels and family-run villas rather than upscale chains and all-inclusive resorts. Strung out primarily along the city's main streets of Avenida Antonio Dias Bastos and Avenida Brasil, these hotels offer solid value by combining budget-friendly rates with proximity to the city center. On top of that, you'll find many smaller options housed within beautiful historical homes and restored manors. Outside of the city and into the surrounding countryside lie larger villas and lodges, often with some combination of pools, gardens, and cabins, though you'll need to arrange for adequate transportation.
