Zoológico de São Paulo, Sao Paulo

Zoo · Zoo / Aquarium
Wild animals from around the globe are sheltered in a Brazilian jungle setting created by Zoológico de São Paulo. The zoo displays more than 3,200 individual animals, representing hundreds of species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. Several rare species can also be seen here, including the white rhinoceros and the lion marmoset. The zoo’s enclosures replicate the natural habitats of wild animals as closely as possible, with several safari routes designed to be explored from the comfort and safety of a car. If you prefer to walk, choose from one of many trails leading through the park’s lush forest. Don’t forget to visit the zoo’s store to pick up a souvenir of your safari adventure. • Beautiful zoo & Safari! It is huge & beautiful. There are not too many animals though.
  • It was a fun experience with the family, although some exhibits were closed. I wish there were more animals in each exhibits
  • Awesome huge place but it needs more attractions, maps around and more guidance! Safari is no need to do when you can walk is even more attractive to enjoy. We pay 17 reais more to see the dinosaurs which was ok for the kids but for me too expensive for just seeing it!
  • Fun and interesting. Good exhibits. Some unique animals. With a visit.
  • One of the best natural attractions in the city. Week days are calmer!
