#1 of 569 in Outdoors in State of Sao Paulo
Wild animals from around the globe are sheltered in a Brazilian jungle setting created by Zoológico de São Paulo. The zoo displays more than 3,200 individual animals, representing hundreds of species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. Several rare species can also be seen here, including the white rhinoceros and the lion marmoset. The zoo’s enclosures replicate the natural habitats of wild animals as closely as possible, with several safari routes designed to be explored from the comfort and safety of a car. If you prefer to walk, choose from one of many trails leading through the park’s lush forest. Don’t forget to visit the zoo’s store to pick up a souvenir of your safari adventure. • Sensational. Is a nocturnal visit, that your main goal is to visit nocturnal animals, and that should be scheduled and paid in advance. The schedule must be made six months in advance, payment, today with r $100,00 per person, about a month before the visit. At the end of the ride is distributed a snack so good. Recommend

  • The Zoo is an interesting attraction for children. Show animals and teach the children is a perfect combination. The facilities are adequate. One or another of the animals needs a better conservation. The services inside the Park are good. Toilets and options to buy ice cream and drinks. You can iterate through all the malls, no rush at the 3:00 2 (with child). Points of caveat: many animals were sleeping; Many apparently are okay tired/old. Cigarette: should be prohibited or permitted in reserved areas, but there were people smoking everywhere. Finally, there was a map sale: it didn't cost anything give people map. Tip: develop an application with map, information about the animals, etc.

  • Nice zoo with lots of birds esp. parrots. Staff wasn't friendly to us maybe because we didn't speak Portuguese.
  • It has so many animals! The safari trip makes you feel in Africa. It is really cool
  • The largest zoo park in Latin America. I've had the opportunity of knowing the staff only structure of the park, and I can say the animals are very well treated and cared by an excellent team of professionals. Really amazing structure with animals from all around the world and clever exhibitions. It worths time and money! Don't forget to check the Brazilian maned wolf, amazing creature.
  • Very accessible. Area is very large ,and its fun roam all over the place
  • I'm not a fan of zoos but I have to admit that the Zoológico de São Paulo is well organized and animals seem to be in good shape and have enough space (except for birds like Condors - but I'm not a vet). Dinosaurs' area is definitely a place where to bring children. A pleasant place were to spend a day with children.
