Vilaboin Square, Sao Paulo

Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
3.7/5 based on 75 reviews on the web
This cozy and quiet spot in the middle of one of the biggest cities in the world, Vilaboin Square is surrounded by numerous small restaurants and bars. Mingle with locals relaxing here during the day, and return later for a taste of genuine Brazilian night life. Once the site of a soccer field, the square is now a protected area. At its center stands a fig tree, planted in the 1930s, which in its day symbolized the beginning of this district’s urbanization. The plaza’s 24-hour newsstand is said to be one of the best in town. Parking can be difficult to find here, so come on foot or as part of a bicycle tour. • Gastronomic Center of Higienópolis, where there are still some interesting places, but that had more shine.

And follows Rebecca Gurberoff with its beautiful jewelry! Also has a school, along with makeup, hairdressers, etc.
