Viaduto Santa Efigenia, Sao Paulo
(3.7/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web)
Viaduto Santa Efigenia is a viaduct located in downtown São Paulo with exclusive use for pedestrians, It starts at Largo São Bento and ends in front of the Church of Santa Iphigenia. It’s a gorgeous steel structure built in Belgium between 1910 and 1913 and transported to Sao Paulo in large pieces. Cross over the viaduct to get a good idea of the grandeur of Sao Paulo. It’s the perfect place to take photos because of it’s architectural style, Art Nouveau, but also because the tallest building in Brazil (Palace W. Zarzur) is right next door. • ... have you ever been worse ... Security is a duty of all attention to a location with a privileged view in sampa ... see the Anhangabaú Valley high school and St. Benedict ... musical equipment store and the movement of the town ... After all ... in an area of 4 km ² circulating 5 million people a day. outside the transit of cars passing through the tunnels.

  • Fantastic place in downtown São Paulo, connecting the rua Santa Iphigenia in the Electro electronic trading off St Benedict which leads to the famous street March 25 * great place to take pictures, but the frequency of cell phone theft is big, take enough care with mobile phones and wallet.

  • The viaduct is a fantastic example of aesthetic concern in construction of urban mobility in the past, and has been extremely important to the functioning of the city, was a beautiful decorative element-and still fulfills that role very well. Unfortunately, as has been reported by the media, there's poor security. Be careful when you go there.
