Rua 25 de Marco, Sao Paulo
(3/5 based on 2,000+ reviews on the web)
Now encompassing more than one street, the Rua 25 de Marco is still known under its original name. It lies in one of the most diverse neighborhoods of the city, where immigrants from all over the world converge to buy and sell their wares. Here you will find hundreds of shops selling miscellaneous items, such as jewelry, toys, accessories, and household goods. Some vendors sell these items in bulk to resellers, while others will sell directly to you, the consumer. Keep an eye on your personal belongings in the area, visitors are often targets for thieves. However--apart from the occasional pickpocketing-- the area is quite safe and is always open for business. Add Rua 25 de Marco to your Sao Paulo travel itinerary, and discover new vacation ideas by using our Sao Paulo itinerary maker.

  • Famous street of Sao Paulo, has everything it, Articles, electronics, Clothes. The stores sell the same things, you have to search to get the best price. During the day the street is crowded and you need attention and care because many burglaries happen. The municipal market and the Gallery Page are next and are mandatory stops.

  • Want cheap things in SP, 25 is the perfect place. Bijuoterias, school supplies, supplies, electronics, everything. But I warn you, is very busy, especially on Saturdays and close to festive events. With money you can bargain more. And then go to the municipal market, eat the famous bread and mortadella.

  • Crowded place, full of people coming and going, contacting you. You have to have a lot of patience to walk and search, and haggle always because they put their prices up there. If you want to find something quickly, has a bunch of kids who are on the streets in front of galleries that you assist, however, charge a Commission of 5.00 on the price of the product you buy.
