  • Picturesque place and very nice to do with family or even friends. A trip back in time to imagine how did our ancestors Italians back in 1900. The maria Fumaça is very well preserved, but unfortunately the short walk, which happens to re, while positioning the train for a brief tour, shows the very sad reality of plundered and poorly maintained trains en route, train bedroom with rolling mattresses and broken glass. The sadness of seeing the bad conservation by lack of funds and investments. Certainly any place like this in Europe would have everything straightened out and well to clinking trying to preserve this point so important of immigration of our beloved Italian immigrants! Still worth a visit and meet Maria smoke and the Italian Immigrant Museum!

  • We were on Saturday to walk along with our grandson who loves trains, but when we get to the place of purchase of the tickets and departure of the train, coming from far away, we had a tremendous disappointment. We were informed by the doorman/security, that nāo would the Maria fumaça ride on this day because the train was reserved for a closed event (a jerk), at a cost of R $40.00 to enter and more 15 to 20 reais, to travel on the train. Tried to talk to some responsible for said party, to see if there would be the possibility of my grandson walking only on the train, but we don't get any answers, leaving a child of only two years in tears. On the exposed, my outrage at the lack of communication on the part of the organizers/responsible for this tour, which in addition to nāo inform the site that nāo would walk open to the general public, also nāo answer the phone.

  • Weak and very interesting at the same time is how I look at the Maria Fumaça ride on the train of immigrants. Suspect for love and love story, old things and have gone for more than two or three times as much this tour as his own Immigrant Museum (next door and here also reviewed by me), I find it very cool and profitable the ride considering how strengths from education and staff through the good condition of the cars ending with the price that is very affordable. Negative points beyond the very short path, similarly to the Museum do Imigrante, the dangerousness of the site from the 17hs00. Anyway I recommend, including with children who enjoy a lot.
