  • When entering on AV. Angelica, the first thing you see is the source now, I recently returned to work. The Park has 104 years. There are several sculptures by famous artists, like Lasar Segall. The impressive is the amount of trees-as a huge fig tree-flowers like lilies from the beach in a small space. You can hear the birds, mainly thrushes. There are several spaces and multiple entries/exits: on AV. Angelica (which is the main) and the streets Piauí, Sergipe and Bahia. At the entrance, there is the "cachorródromo" and the source. Later, a sloping lawn where people extend towels and make pic-nics or birthday parties. Climbing is a square and a playground. Has a kindergarten next door, the EMEI Monteiro Lobato. On the way out of Bahia street there is a space for the practice of physical exercises and a device releases water vapour when fired (for dry days). He was square, but the city, a few years ago, decided to administer it, so I turned to park. It's very well maintained compared to the other existing ones around town. Nearby, at rua Piauí, restaurant, pizzeria and a shop selling coffee beans and ground at the time. The Park is near the Villaboim Square, with your big fig tree and the restaurants around. A good half-hour walk can bring you to visit the Football Museum in Pacaembu (leaving the street Bahia). If you want to make pic-nic, but I don't have the eat-and-the-drink, at the corner of Angelica and rua Sergipe, has a supermarket. Parking is a problem: the nearby streets are fully occupied, especially on weekends.
