  • In fact I thought time travel, since nowadays the crimes are more violent and much more fatal accidents.

  • To get it's easy to stay at the main entrance of University City, in the Camp of HERE. Cost: Free, free. ... Attendance: are police officers with extensive knowledge about the collection. The acquis itself has everything for those who like Criminology, criminal procedure, identifying behavior. Also has specific rooms of some famous crimes in the country, particularly the State of São Paulo in Brazil. There is also a small collection of weapons used by criminals, what makes this Museum a differential, since you usually don't have that knowledge. Plus the broad collection and documentation. Downside: the shop does not have a souvenir ... Always think that when explored in places in Brazil. Anyway the hint. It's worth going and you're going to be at least 90 minutes.

  • The Museum is located in the Civil Police Academy. I got there by subway, get off at Butantã and walking to the Museum. I found it quite interesting to visit. There are a few old cars (VW Beetle, Truck, van, motorcycle etc) at the entrance. Inside, technical equipment, how to listen, radio and others, typewriters, drug samples with technical information and some stories of famous crimes. Further, there are old weapons and homemade (seized of prisons) and the damage caused by different ammunition into wooden doors, drive and armoured glass. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to take pictures of this second part. I found the simple and interesting Museum.
