  • I love this Museum! Super recommend! A great time to make friends, family or even alone. An immersion in the world of Contemporary Arts from 1950 to the present day. Wonderful works of renowned artists here and in the world. In the end, I recommend a quick stop at Mezaninno where has a delicious cheese bread and amazing sweets.

  • Museum with free entry with a great collection and the temporary exhibitions are excellent. The view from the top floor is beautiful, especially at sunset. Overlooks the Ibirapuera and the Instituto Biológico-that has a coffee plantation, had no idea that there would be a coffee plantation in the middle of the city of SÃO PAULO.

  • If you go to Ibirapuera park you can visit the Museum of Contemporary Art - MAC/ USP which is in 7 floors. You can see art exhibition, but unfortunaly there were no English descriptions of the art work, except for a paragraph by the curators in each section. So you get general idea about the artist but not about a specific painting or sculpture. The view from the 8th floor is amazing. You can see the city from the top. And there is no entrance fee.
  • The museum has a good collection of different kinds of artworks and has a rooftop with a beautiful view of the Ibirapuera Park and the Ibirapuera Avenue. The picture was taken on a rainy afternoon. Free entrance. The only downside was that some floors still had exhibits under construction.
  • It's worth to visit. You can always find something unusual.
  • Good artworks ruined by bad curatorship and even worse lighting. It was like it wasn't even open and half the lights were off. It just didn't work. There were some beautiful artworks in the collection but it pained me to see them in such a setting. I would say pop by if nothing better to do or if there is a good temporary exhibition but I definitely would prioritise MASP and MuBE.
  • The variety and quality of art was excellent. It was a relief that everything was written in English and Portuguese. I will go back some day.
