  • Enjoy the proximity to the Ibirapuera Park and drop by the Museum. Worth the visit. Access of the Park to the Museum by a footbridge. For those who don't like Museum worth the panoramic view of the city of São Paulo that the Museum offers.

  • Great exhibition and great art. Layout and presentation is perfect. The variety in the pieces is very cool and setting up the exhibition "La Casa" according to themes and not according to time, artist...  more »
  • The Museum is opposite the Ibirapuera, entry 3. The Museum is easily accessible, with bus at the door. Unheralded, presents very interesting exhibitions. The environment is quiet. The building is tall, with good lifts, and the terrace has a beautiful view of Ibirapuera. Free!

  • If you go to Ibirapuera park you can visit the Museum of Contemporary Art - MAC/ USP which is in 7 floors. You can see art exhibition, but unfortunaly there were no English descriptions of the art work, except for a paragraph by the curators in each section. So you get general idea about the artist but not about a specific painting or sculpture. The view from the 8th floor is amazing. You can see the city from the top. And there is no entrance fee.
  • The museum has a good collection of different kinds of artworks and has a rooftop with a beautiful view of the Ibirapuera Park and the Ibirapuera Avenue. The picture was taken on a rainy afternoon. Free entrance. The only downside was that some floors still had exhibits under construction.
  • It's worth to visit. You can always find something unusual.
  • Good artworks ruined by bad curatorship and even worse lighting. It was like it wasn't even open and half the lights were off. It just didn't work. There were some beautiful artworks in the collection but it pained me to see them in such a setting. I would say pop by if nothing better to do or if there is a good temporary exhibition but I definitely would prioritise MASP and MuBE.
  • The variety and quality of art was excellent. It was a relief that everything was written in English and Portuguese. I will go back some day.
