The lobby is beautiful, stained glass Windows, clear float, and the replica of two beautiful portals! Has works of great artists in the collection. All changes of exposure to exposure, has two different spaces where usually happens two exhibitions with different themes in each, worth check the schedule to see what's going on. There is also the garden of sculptures on the outside and the architecture of the building, a show.

The lovely Miss Desiree. The works are wonderful. There are so many renowned artists. I can't quote all: Tarsila, Anita, Victor Brecheret, Di Cavalcanti, Lasar and others. The site is well protected by security the whole time since the works don't have about protection (which to me is absurd, even if the MAC), at least here the bouncers actually seemed attentive. The site is divided into 2 rooms: cultural Hall (traveling exhibition) with pictures of famous by J.R. Duran among other photographers. And the room Annie Álvares (fixed display). Room where are the best and most beautiful works. And in the hall a few beautiful sculptures of Aleijadinho 8. And of course the Hall with a glass roof and a dazzling color. In short: 1000 note. It is really a museum worthy and very tasteful s completely free (June 2017). There are toilets, parking for employees only, I've only seen students walk, and to my sorrow there is no COFFEE. May have on other dependencies, but the only places available to the public is the hall. Mezzanine, subsoil and any other dependency is not included in the tour. Good ride! PS there is a small shop but tb was closed on my visit

Although not as visited as the Centre and Avenida Paulista, is a cultural addresses that are worth a lot to visit, not only by the very rich collection, as the travelling exhibitions artists, the most renowned of our art are exposed there, like Lasar Segall, Candido Portinari, Tarsila do Amaral, Emiliano Di Cavalcanti, Victor Brecheret, Tarsila do Amaral, Alfredo Volpi, Anita Malfatti , Tomie Ohtake and many others. Another highlight are several plaster casts of sculptures of the prophets made by Aleijadinho and also some portals of churches that are scattered throughout the lobby.

Majestic entrance with beautiful stain glass work. Exhibition is not permanent. Sometimes it's nice, sometimes not. Worth the visit anyway. And it's free.
