  • Located near the São Bento Subway Station and the viaduct St. Iphigenia. A lot of the history of our city. The building of the Church is very beautiful and well maintained. The welcome organized by the monks of St. Benedict "Benedictines". On site is sold delicious bread! Worth checking out!

  • The chapel of the monastery is very pretty, and contains the tomb of Fernão Dias Paes Leme. The bakery of the monastery provides high-quality products, especially the olive loaf which is wonderful! Worth the visit.

  • Rustic-style Temple and very beautiful. Is it worth buying the buns and cakes that are made by the monks. The temple is squeaky clean, perfumed by conservation. I just want to stay there alone feeling peace, despite the surrounding streets be well agitated

  • I love to go there from time to time. Extremely charming interiors and a real peaceful emotion. The community of monks praying several times a day gives the opportunity to joint them and to enter their quiet existence of praise. Pope Benedict XVI stayed here during his visit in Brazil in 2007. Recommended to tourists and do not forget the Sao Bento bread!
  • Recomento o canto gregoriano
  • There's a nice small cafe offering bakery made by the monks.
  • one of the most beautiful churches in Sao Paulo. I absolutely love every detail of its architecture. The monks sing Gregorian chants during some of the ceremonies.
  • Beautiful church with stained glass, elaborate painting on walls and ceiling and intricate architecture. The chants during the evening service are sublime!
