Morumbi District, Sao Paulo

(2.6/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web)
Morumbi District is a city within a city next to Sao Paulo's largest soccer stadium. There you'll find a shiny, new shopping center and market frequented by the residents of the neighborhood. However, Morumbi District is also just a nice place to hang out at a local cafe or pub during happy hour and eavesdrop on the laughter of locals socializing after the office. The hang out spots are especially exciting after a soccer game at the nearby stadium. Wander the streets to find boutiques and locally-owned shops, or just enjoy the cleanliness and tranquility of a Brazilian neighborhood away from the congestion of the city center. For Morumbi District and beyond, use our Sao Paulo holiday planner to get the most from your Sao Paulo vacation.

  • Well.. is one of the noble areas of São Paulo. You see many mansions going through there. Well wooded area and clean. Seems very quiet and the cost of living in the area seems to be very expensive. It also hosts the estádio do Morumbi. In São Paulo's games day is very busy.

  • Upscale suburb, with many old houses and beautiful, but surrounded by the Morumbi slum. on game days at the São Paulo the traffic is intense.

  • A beautiful district and newsy. Vinicius de moraes square, the estádio do morumbi, the palácio dos bandeirantes and beautiful mansions and its walls too high. A complicated traffic on weekdays and very quiet on the weekends. Worth a drive and some good photos.
