Categories: Neighborhoods, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
2.5/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web
Morumbi District is a city within a city next to Sao Paulo's largest soccer stadium. There you'll find a shiny, new shopping center and market frequented by the residents of the neighborhood. However, Morumbi District is also just a nice place to hang out at a local cafe or pub during happy hour and eavesdrop on the laughter of locals socializing after the office. The hang out spots are especially exciting after a soccer game at the nearby stadium. Wander the streets to find boutiques and locally-owned shops, or just enjoy the cleanliness and tranquility of a Brazilian neighborhood away from the congestion of the city center. For Morumbi District and beyond, use our Sao Paulo holiday planner to get the most from your Sao Paulo vacation.

  • Is an upscale suburb of São Paulo, with large buildings, without many tourist attractions, aside from the Morumbi Stadium don't see relevance to those who visit,

  • The stadium more bland that I know in the world, is great, but bad in all aspects. Since the vision of the field until the distance that is the lawn, many blind spots for the fans. The neighborhood has huge squares and are all thought to car use, cemeteries, the stadium, the Government Palace, all very dull. The only exception is the Maria Luiza and Oscar Americano Foundation that deserves a visit, they very nice restaurant, but you have to call to verify hours of operation that are well constrained. There are some good hospitals in the region, Albert Einstein and the San Luis and two big clubs the Paineiras is really cool especially for those who play tennis, but of course is not open to the public.
