This group, memorialized in stone, pays homage to a strange history that makes Portugal proud and Spain wince. A blend of mercenaries, explorers, soldiers, and curious adventurers, these men helped forge the way for Brazil to become an independent nation. • The monument is very beautiful and grandiose. But it's not worth going just to see him. Do the double Ibirapuera Park-Monument. Can you take cool photos of the monument during the week. On weekends is more full.

  • The great Monument at flags, symbol of the expansion of the Brazilian territory is clean, without graffiti and with continuous policing

  • It's part of our childhood climbing this monument. But today the police leaves no more. In a privileged area next to the best Park of São Paulo in Brazil (Ibirapuera) this is a postcard of the city.

  • The landmark of Ibirapuera park. it is an impressive artwork.
  • Great statue, it pictures the adventurers who explored the interior of the country, the Bandeirantes. This statue is the most interactive statue in the city. You will find dozens of people climbing it to take pictures: incredible and dangerous.
  • Very cool monument at such a heavily used road. I especially liked the detail in the traffic lights next to the monument - they are quite funny :)
  • If you visit Sao Paulo, you must take a picture here! Close to beautiful park Ibirapuera.
  • Impressive monument!
