  • The building of the market Hall of Pines was hidden between the movement of Teodoro Sampaio and the reborn also Largo da Batata. But since the end of 2015 is that from changing and the space gained new light. First was the arrival of Comedoria Gonzales, the renowned chef Checho Gonzales. A point that brings your kitchen one of the best ceviches. And now another chef calls attention to the market: Alex Atala, through his work with the Institute Tie. The manifest of the Institute Tie starts showing clearly its purpose: "man's relationship with the food needs to be reviewed," and it is in this spirit that they take, in partnership with the Instituto Socioambiental, the Auá Institute, the Cerrado, the Group's Central Quintana and Mocotó Café, curated by 4 new boxes on the market. These are not any spaces, but represent the 5 Brazilian biomes — Amazon, Atlantic forest, Cerrado and Caatinga Pampas — bringing products such as fruits, nuts, squashes, oils, flours, spices, seasonings and Rico crafts of the regions. The idea is also that the pits work as a kind of showroom for these small producers. Along with the public's approach to these products, understand that chefs, restaurants and other tips of this chain are into them, generating a new and effective demand. Is only the starting point for a new network of a smarter consumption if you create by São Paulo.

  • Well-structured market, has good options of snacks such as pizza, ceviches and even the famous dices of tapioca. However, I believe it is a bit expensive to shop.

  • Good food stop for a Saturday afternoon. They have a nice beer selection in one of the shops, and a café with great torresmo and dadinhos de tapioca.
  • Nice place for fruits and vegetables. Also some options to eat, lunch or snacks. Small places from famous chefs, like Alex Atala and Rodrigo Oliveira.
  • Good bang for the buck place. Better than going downtown in the main market. They have been refurbishing it to make it a popular Eataly which to be honest, makes more sense for the Sao Paulo population.
  • Ótimo - especialmente o hortifruti Julia, casa de carnes PJJ, Maria Pescados e entreposto de feijoada
  • Hypes are taking hand to the historical and traditional market. They are making basic things too expensive.
