  • The library's old acquaintance! Who live in Sampa need to know this city's heritage. I was just visiting, because they were many years that was there. Everything seemed different. A lot of organization on the part of the books, but found very little. I noticed an art gallery and a theatre too beautiful! We watched a presentation of typical music from Russia. The building and grounds are beautiful!

  • Example of managing a library. Have automated lending system. The newspaper is in the building next door, have to inform at the reception. The circulating collection of books is on the ground floor, and now the user can directly query. Has collection of Comics and children's books.

  • Named after one of the Brazilian modernism biggest names is also one of the state main public library. It is second to none in Brazil. Unfortunately it is not 24/7 anymore, so check the hours. No parking nearby.
  • Imagine having to show your ID to enter a place that is a joke compared with libraries elsewhere. Ask to see the English books and you get four-page catalogue from which you have to choose although none of them are worth even considering no matter how desperate you are to read.
  • Nice architecture, worth stopping by if you're in the area
  • Polite and helpful staff plus free access to wifi!
  • It's Impressive!
