  • The place is Just beautiful, clean and calm. The employees are Very kind and available. There's a fantastic view of the sorroundings from the 3rd floor. Worth a visit!!  more »
  • Went in to have a look inside the Mario de Andrade Libary, it's nice but nothing extraordinary. Very close to centro though.  more »
  • I love this place to read and enjoy a little bit of silence in the middle of the city. They have great resources for those who want to research and simply read the newspaper of the day.  more »

  • Named after one of the Brazilian modernism biggest names is also one of the state main public library. It is second to none in Brazil. Unfortunately it is not 24/7 anymore, so check the hours. No parking nearby.
  • Imagine having to show your ID to enter a place that is a joke compared with libraries elsewhere. Ask to see the English books and you get four-page catalogue from which you have to choose although none of them are worth even considering no matter how desperate you are to read.
  • Nice architecture, worth stopping by if you're in the area
  • Polite and helpful staff plus free access to wifi!
  • It's Impressive!
