  • The Solar da Marquesa is interesting as the history of architecture. Admission is free and is very well cared for and preserved. The problem, in my view, is that it is not a museum back to the Marquesa de Santos. This type of information should be exposed at the entrance. There was an exhibition on Yolanda Penteado, that I'm not interested in anything.

  • The building of the 18th century is well preserved and hosts exhibitions. The building is very beautiful and you can see architectural details. Currently there are the shows of Yolanda Penteado: the Lady of the arts. The exhibition is very well assembled and stays until the end of the year. It is worth visiting.

  • I went for the second time now in February 2018, on my vacation. I took my 7 year old daughter who fell in love. We were met by an extremely polite employee with a lot of interesting things explained teaching for both of us. Free admission with a cloakroom with padlock. Clean bathroom. Drinking bowls in good condition. Worth the visit!

  • A beautiful building, well maintained, well maintained and clean in the middle of Central São Paulo. Worth the stop there, as it is a little piece of history well-documented in his platelets within the building talking about the history and importance of this beautiful building. Worth a visit, even if it's for a photo. Easy access from the nearest metro station which is the see. Right next door to the courtyard of the School who is also a must-see stop. The Solar da Marquesa de Santos, located in the central region of São Paulo, is the seat of the Museum of the city of São Paulo and receives various cultural exhibitions. The residence, made of taipa de pilão, was built around the second half of the 18th century. Between 1834 and 1867, the building served as a dwelling for Domitilla de Castro Canto e Melo, known as Marchioness of Santos, who acquired the property of the heir to the Brigadier Joaquim de Moraes Helm after the breakup of his relationship with Pedro
