  • Before speaking of the Park wanted to warn people that the Secretariat of the Environment and green left the Park. It is more than 7 years without restoration and historical elements of more than 100 years are rotting. Greater alarm is they don't treat a single specimen of Bicho preguiça for over 5 years, and even take a female for him and the Rosary, easiest thing to handle is dying. The Park, to me, is the biggest historical reference from the city of São Paulo. He was the first botanical garden, he had the first skyscraper, with 22 meters high in the city. He was the first Zoo in the city. He had numerous events in the Republican period. He was the first Park of the city, in addition to being a place of eclectic style with French and English style in a same place. What to say ... He is sensational even passing unnoticed by most people. 5 stars for the Park, to the administrator and the Secretary of the Environment and green (SVMA) my note is negative tending to infinity:(

  • (April 2017) It was a beautiful place. I recently visited to write reality and not to invent a fake. The square is in a deplorable situation. Start. Dirty. The smell of feces is strong. And to complete and worsen turned stronghold of beggar, prostitution (a lady came to me quietly ask if I wanted to "enjoy". A lady!!). The bathrooms are disgusting and impossible to use. In a well at the bottom, opposite the luz station, there is a huge dump. Total disregard. To complete the Town Hall on the boundary of the square tried to embellish with giant abstract works which in my humble opinion not married with the local. Actually looked like more junk accumulated positive sides: there's a playground for the children, there is also an outdoor gym. There is a small (really small) Grotto next to a lake where you can take pictures. And what I loved most: a tribute to Giuseppe Garibaldi Italian guerrilla who fought in the revolution farroupilha. Otherwise I don't know what to say to not be very sad for the situation of the place. Despite all this I'd just to meet and take pictures and because São Paulo is gorgeous even with the ugly.
