Livraria Cultura, Sao Paulo

Two floors of books surround an interior lobby at Livraria Cultura. Titles in almost every subject are arranged around the store; you’ll even find an English section. Choose your book and settle in at the cafe for some relaxed reading time over a rich coffee. Check out the well-stocked DVD and CD section before leaving, where you can ask a staff member to recommend some local music and subtitled local film options. • Whenever I give a passadinha on Livraria Cultura. Most of the time, at Paulista Avenue. The store continues with an amazing offer of material that no other networks of bookshops, in addition to the custom service, super helpful, and always good service of the staff. The only reason of criticism is still the form of organization of the volumes on the shelves, whose logic defies me for years. Still, it's a great place to find gifts for loved ones who enjoy culture in addition to mass culture.

  • It's going to be impossible you can't find what you're looking for in the library culture of Paulista Avenue. Don't be discouraged if it takes a good few minutes to find a member of staff available to help you, when you do, it's worth it for the excellent service. Even if you do not know what to buy, it's worth stopping for a coffee at the bottom of the library or just choose any book and read a few pages lying on a beanbag chair comfortable.

  • This bookstore is 100% Brazilian since its foundation in 1969 by the Herz family. Sergio Herz is the one person to blame. They recently acquired the Brazilian operations of the French group Fnac. It is hard not to find the book you're looking here, and ending up buying a couple extra ones.
  • Awesome place to find books or just to visit. Really nice atmosphere.
  • One of the best bookstores in Brazil, you can find almost anything you're looking for. It has a nice place to sit and read.
  • It's a fun place, you can find almost all the articles that you looking for... It's a good place to visit and of course to buy books.
  • Big book store with a nice place to sit and read. You can find imported and national books. And if you can't staff are very helpful and friendly. This place is awesome for book lovers and they even have a reading nook for children.
