  • RECOMMEND the Japanese Pavilion is a whole House Japanese style built in Ibirapuera Park. Paying a fee (can't remember how) you can access Pavilion, visit a small museum with pieces ranging from paintings to ancient samurai armor and walk through the site. At the entrance to this museum is possible to purchase some souvenirs too. It is worth mentioning that photography is not allowed the items from the Museum, a shame. Inside the Pavilion there is a small Japanese garden, trees and a small Koi pond. Unfortunately, on the day I visited, the Lake was under maintenance, so there were no carp that me and my girlfriend wanted to see. Curious fact: the columns of the House (wooden) are perfectly fitted each other. This was done by artists from Japan and that carry this art for generations, each family with your different style. In short, it's a nice visit if you're in Ibirapuera Park, a pity that when I went to the Lake was in maintenance. Positive points: the Museum is very good; Beautiful place and well taken care of. Downside: although I don't remember the exact value, we thought it was a bit expensive for the little that the site offered.

  • Located within Ibirapuera park an old Japanese style house. Attractive and over looks water. No events on when I visited so not much to do  more »
  • Guess I was wrong because I created a lot of expectations about the place, has a simple garden and a tank with carp
