  • The location is easy to access, although it is not so close to subway stations. I went for the line 1 (blue) of the São Joaquim subway station and walked a kilometer? It is the responsibility of the register occurs only fair on Sundays. Very interesting to discover the place. There was no fixed local policing, but there are security guards hired by local and I felt safe walking there, noting that it is a region almost the city center very close to Paulista Avenue. The market has all antiquities in General (silverware, porcelain, coins, telephones, VCR, tape recorders etc. (pictures on some items in annex). There are many food options and also a famous canoleria. In addition to the square there are several people with various products in which it is possible to make the exchange of goods (barter). I witnessed many people offering ancient procutos to local merchants and realized that they are potential buyers, too. Many things draw attention, since they are linked to the childhood and youth of many people. Very interesting to know and stay a few hours there and as you will be in Bixiga is possible lunch in a cafeteria, because the region is famous for its gastronomy. There's a taxi point in the square and also availability of city bus. Always the availability of walking to a subway station. Recommend this tour on Sunday in Sao Paulo.

  • The fair has tents with a lot of variety of stuff to sell (LP, crockery, clothes, toys, coins, furniture, home furnishings, etc) many of the exhibitors have shops, so if you don't find something there, talking a bit you may be able to find. Have items very cheap and very expensive things too, every time I walk by there I end up buying something. I love the ride, every time I go to SP end up going through there, then I recommend going to the street fair on May 13, where are located great canteens.
