Chocolat du Jour, Sao Paulo

4.4
#41 of 93 in Shopping in Sao Paulo
Brazil's one of the world's largest cocoa bean producers, and Chocolat du Jour will delight you with how it turns those beans into chocolate art. With the way the shop presents its creations in gleaming display cases, you could be forgiven for thinking you wandered into the shop of a jeweler rather than a chocolatier. The knowledgeable staff will guide you through the store, explaining production methods and the ingredients that go into their chocolate pieces. And, of course, they'll help you find the right chocolate gift or box to consume yourself. Put Chocolat du Jour at the forefront of your travel plans using our Sao Paulo tour planner.

  • Nothing like, for shopping or walk in the Mall, take a break for a good coffee. Especially when accompanied by delicious little chocolates (the one with Damascus is a crazy thing). That is why we made a pit stop.

  • The store is very nice and with a great variety of flavors, especially the chocolate nougat. The service is very good and differentiated. Another good choice is the chocolate chaud au lait (fantastic). Fair price for what it offers.

  • The chocolate is good but for the price should have a differential. Chocolate nougat is one of the best. The gingerbread (box with 2 smaller units) cost real 17, thin, without stuffing, not worth the price. It's worth going at least once to prove one of the goodies and have a hot chocolate but don't expect anything out of the ordinary and high price.
