Cemitério do Morumbi, Sao Paulo

(65+ reviews on the web)
Cemetery Tourist Spot
You will find Cemitério do Morumbi at the center of São Paulo's exclusive Morumbi cemetery, under a beautiful flowering tree. The simple plaque, inscribed with “nothing can separate me from the love of God”, is permanently decorated with flowers, flags, and tributes to the three-times world champion and arguably Brazil's most loved national hero. Less ornate than most Roman Catholic graveyards, Morumbi cemetery is more a tranquil garden of remembrance, and, as you take a stroll, you will also see the final resting place of Elis Regina, widely regarded as one of the best Brazilian singers of all time. Put Cemitério do Morumbi into our Sao Paulo vacation planner to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Sao Paulo.
