  • Yesterday I was going to attend two sessions in the room drive-in, but I couldn't pay for the tickets. That's because the fine arts Box does not accept credit cards that are not of the box For Me. And I was only 25.00 in wallet, just enough for a session. I swear I wanted to go home. No credit cards accepted? To buy fair pastel lately with card. But I took a deep breath and decided to stay. After all, I had already arranged with a friend to attend the second session, "Divorce Italian style". As soon as she arrived, we went to buy tickets. We chose the places and pay the tickets in cash. All right, huh? No!!!! The session, scheduled for the 8:30 pm, just would start at 9:00 pm. And it's always like that in this room: the sessions begin 30 or 45 minutes after the scheduled time. But, according to the clerk, we could stay in the room for a while. "It's all on the site," replied. We do not understand anything. Doing what? Looking for anything? Seeing advertisements jerks? Or watching trailers crabs? Quit to grasp and went looking for a place close to eat something before the session of the 8:30 pm, 9:00 pm, start now. After eating, we went back to the cinema, we head to our room, the room drive-in, and ... SURPRISE! The room is super cool! The chairs of the first queues are seats of old cars, they can sit two to three people. In addition, it has a cafeteria Bar Riviera within the room. And was still passing Flintstones. FLINSTONES!!!! Why the attendant didn't you warn us? For now we have to get all the information on the websites? It's very hard to explain to someone who has obviously never been in that room, how it works? Is it so difficult to train right employees who serve the public? As for the movie itself, I knew he wasn't going to let me down. View the Mastroianni in action always makes me happy. But as lack training to officials of the box fine arts ...

  • The programming there is great, always with movies that are outside the commercial circuit. I would like to go more.

  • It was a great space for anyone who likes movies. Today is more a space either, like so many others. Failed to enhance the quality of the transmission of movies, in theaters, mainly in the two largest rooms, technicians entering and leaving the service door at all times during the sessions, make noise in this process of coming and going, the audio is sometimes higher than normal, an annoying noise rather than the natural sound of the film, regrettable things to a place that was once the main reference of alternative cinema of São Paulo.

  • You just can't beat this place's history and meaning to the alternative movie scene of the city. Caixa did a great job restoring it after it was closed and it's now one of the best movie joints in São Paulo. Particularly good are the 'all-nighters' it usually does once a month with a sequence of films from a theme. Structure is good, if adapted to an old building; it's a bit dirty sometimes, because of the proximity to busy Consolação Avenue right at its doorsteps, but that only speaks to its awesome location.
  • Cinema com filmes independentes
  • Great art house cinema. Comfortable and reasonably priced.
  • One of the best movie theaters in São Paulo.
