Spend the day at Benedito Calixto arts market to people watch, shop the eclectic array of items, enjoy authentic Brazilian food, and listen to live music playing. This market offers quite a funky mix of items to peruse including clothes, handcrafts, antiques, handmade shoes, furniture, phonographs, silverware, paintings, and musical instruments. Try the pastels, which are typical Brazilian fast-food consisting of thin pastry envelopes wrapped around various fillings, then deep fried in vegetable oil. Enjoy this with a cold Brazilian beer, while taking in the sights and sounds of Benedito Calixto arts market. • I found the fair very well organized is good for sightseeing. Has the food, shows, playground for kids already p/shopping gets complicated everything very expensive! I prefer the antique fair of Av Paulista. Has art galleries and restaurants around the square is a nice ride.

  • It was a very nice ride. Are several types of articles, is much like a thrift store outdoors! You pay attention to the clock, because here time passes without seeing!

  • The products are expensive, but the atmosphere is pleasant. In the center of the square has a good court, with live music. In the area you can find several restaurants, with typical Brazilian cuisine.
  • Amazing place to see people, have fun. Diffent food, Great Brazilian music. You have to go there to feel the atmosphere!
  • Great vibe. Local food is great and lots of antiques on display for sale. The vinyl open market is the cherry on the cake.
  • Awesome hipster feira - maybe a bit pricey and touristic nowadays, but the local concerts of chorrinho make it worth!
  • Love it, so many nice, unique handmade stuff to see!
