Agua Branca Park, Sao Paulo

Categories: Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.1/5 based on 750+ reviews on the web
Under a canopy of some 3,000 different species of trees, you can take a peaceful stroll around Agua Branca Park, often accompanied by its free-range chickens, peacocks, and cats. As you walk, you will come across the shaded tables designated for reading, the riding school, and the picnic area, which is the perfect place to enjoy your purchases from the weekly, organic market held in the park. Historically built as a place for agricultural studies--the park still has an aquarium, home to native species including carp and turtles--the priority of Agua Branca Park now is recreation, and as such, is a tranquil escape from the rush of São Paulo. A visit to Agua Branca Park represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Sao Paulo vacation planner to plot your vacation.

  • We went on a Saturday morning. Very nice atmosphere, has several animals in the Park, cats, birds, chickens. We went to do some photos and we love. Access is very easy, near the barra funda subway station.

  • The White water park I served many years as a pleasant passage of PUC-São Paulo to the subway: very green peacocks circulating freely. There are countless buildings where work courses for seniors, among other functions. The Park overall is very nice, but needs basic repairs such as painting, conservation and lighting.
