(650 reviews on the web)
Beach
Aracagi Beach is best reached by car beacuse you can drive onto the sand and unload your beach gear directly under an open tent. The beach itself is an expanse of white sand that reflects the sunlight onto the sea making a stunning view sparkle. Enjoy the shade under your open tent, or hit the water, but be mindful of the high tides that cover the beach. Put Aracagi Beach on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Sao Luis trip generator.

  • That's, without a doubt, my favourite beach in Sao Luis, although it's technically in another city. The landscape and the atmosphere are really great. The local market may be quite annoying sometimes ...  more »
  • One of the good beaches for bathing in the city. There are several tents in the sand where the cars can be parked next to the tables. The problem is each car opens the bag with your own sound, what causes a noise pollution. It's nice to see as well as is the tide, because if car has to move the car before the tide to rise, because many cars were trapped by water.

  • I ended up on this beach of "orelhada"--took a bus to the Centre of são luiz-and once there, we were walking by the seashore, with the tide away, we stopped at a kiosk with sheet cover of buriti, with networking, and beer served in a cold finger snap, with a fried fish to get the hat, it's worth the ride!
