  • and a very well maintained Park, with its mineral water sources with excellent hygiene, has a very nice lake with pedal boats for hire and very well served by super clean bathrooms.

  • Excellent Park, has two very good quiet relaxing to stroll, pictures, time with family. The ticket costs $12, but student pays half, upon presentation of membership card. The pedal is the part too, and it can go to the island, but is very small and does not have many expectations on this island, but for couples is interesting.

  • The cover charge is exorbitant-R$12,00 (in August/2017)-to a location without attractions that justify it, in addition to the water sources. Have the guts to charge R$3,00 of residents so that they can make the race there. There are some stores within the Park, which, moreover, do not know how to survive if the person pays to get in there. The ride itself can be done in half an hour because there's not much to see or do. I did not like! In fact, as tip, learn about the water Park of Caxambu is 30 km away, with an internal structure much better, 10 in the St. Lawrence, with the $5.00 entry.

  • Very calm and lovely place. If you like beautiful nature and lakes with ducks, you will definitely love it. Besides we can drink water from several different fountains, each of them has distinguish tastes. I have been here 3 times, it is always a great choice for calm walks and peaceful conversation.
  • Great place! Here you can try different types of mineral water, as they separate it by what types of minerals and what types of desase they can treat. Very good experience.

Where to stay in Sao Lourenco

Unsuprisingly, the majority of accommodations in Sao Lourenco sit within a few minutes' walk of the large mineral lake in the center of town. You can stay on the edge of the lake, or next to the nearby park, to have easy access to the mineral springs that attract most people to the area. To feel closer to the natural surroundings, stay in one of the friendly, family-run inns on the edge of Sao Lourenco--most offer large gardens and some have even more land (you may find yourself among farm animals and vegetable patches as your hosts tend to their homegrown food).
