  • We were greeted by a gentleman educated that introduced us to the place, and gave information about objects, people and some rituals of the temple. The visit is short, because the place is small, but worth it because the energy of space is very good!

Where to stay in Sao Lourenco

Unsuprisingly, the majority of accommodations in Sao Lourenco sit within a few minutes' walk of the large mineral lake in the center of town. You can stay on the edge of the lake, or next to the nearby park, to have easy access to the mineral springs that attract most people to the area. To feel closer to the natural surroundings, stay in one of the friendly, family-run inns on the edge of Sao Lourenco--most offer large gardens and some have even more land (you may find yourself among farm animals and vegetable patches as your hosts tend to their homegrown food).
