Is another of the attractions of São Lourenço in which the tourist has no access. There is no way to assess if you can't visit.

Amid the exuberance of the water Park I, right next to the image of Christ the Redeemer, a staircase in the midst of greenery, where monkeys, squirrels and marmosets come to eat in your hand. There a small chapel, simple, away from lust, but of spiritual force that renews your belief and leads him to meditate and pray.

I've been in the Hermitage in another visit to the town of San Lorenzo, a few years ago. In November/2015/2016 and in April was closed to the public. A pity, because it is a very interesting Chapel.

Where to stay in Sao Lourenco

Unsuprisingly, the majority of accommodations in Sao Lourenco sit within a few minutes' walk of the large mineral lake in the center of town. You can stay on the edge of the lake, or next to the nearby park, to have easy access to the mineral springs that attract most people to the area. To feel closer to the natural surroundings, stay in one of the friendly, family-run inns on the edge of Sao Lourenco--most offer large gardens and some have even more land (you may find yourself among farm animals and vegetable patches as your hosts tend to their homegrown food).
