Where to stay in Sao Jose Dos Campos

The vast majority of accommodations in Sao Jose dos Campos are concentrated around the city center, as well as its surrounding inner neighborhoods, including Vila Sanches and Jardim Matarazzo. Catering mainly to the businesspeople who make up the majority of visitors to the city, many of the chain hotels fall into the mid-range and high-end categories, often with excellent facilities but not much character. You can find some smaller inns and guesthouses, which are more suitable for budget travelers, scattered around the inner city. For close proximity to a spacious park, look for accommodations around Jardim Bela Vista.

  • I'm a student at Univap and I was delighted with the Observatory. Has everything that anyone who loves astronomy would like to meet. I suggest you keep an eye because it always has attractions of viewing the night sky, in addition to the SIMFast event that occurs every year.

  • The infrastructure of the Centre and of Univap is great. I went to the event that had the super Moon and quite enjoyed the experience.

  • I went to the Centre a few times and enjoyed the experience. Check the agenda as there are days of the week that is open to the public and it is possible to observe planets and the Moon, since time is not closed. I could see the Sun (during the day in the Open Campus) and Saturn. It's worth it! Informants give attention and explain everything right! Very cool!!
